In October 2021, the ITS World Congress will take place in Hamburg for the first time.
Whereas the World Congress was held in Singapore in 2019 and in Las Vegas in 2020, Hamburg will present the world’s largest conference on “Intelligent Transport Systems” next year. FlyNex will co-host the thematic area “Urban Air Mobility” as a partner of the ITS World Congress. The topic UAM will be given its own area in Hamburg for the first time and will also stand out thanks to current innovations. As part of the topic “New services from new technologies”, the focus will be on innovations such as air cabs, industrial drones, the transport of goods, or digital airspace management.

Call for Contributions Now Open

Businesses, researchers, and experts can now submit their proposals for lectures, sessions, and presentations at the ITS World Congress to the official Call for Contributions. Contributions can be designed in different formats. The now launched call is aimed equally at companies, research, and public institutions, in order to represent the essential innovations and trends in “Intelligent Transport Systems”.

The closing date for submission of contributions is January 11, 2021, after which the European Program Committee will make a selection from all submissions by March 31. Working papers and proposals will be accepted in the following formats:

  • Technical paper
  • Research paper
  • Session proposals, such as workshops or panels and
  • Presentations of innovative solutions or services

More information about the individual formats and the submission procedure and links can be found at https://www.flynex.io/its2021/.

Good luck! We look forward to seeing you in the “Urban Air Mobility” section at ITS 2021 in Hamburg.
