Because of the flood disaster in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate, FlyNex has joined forces with other startups and companies from the drone industry to form the relief initiative Starkregen 21. Together, the relief initiative supports the emergency services, municipalities, cities, and authorities in the affected regions with drone technology, deployment resources, on-site consulting, and operations.
Especially the feared consequences of the flood situation and flooding are a cause for concern at the moment, such as dam breaches, slope slides, the collapse of roads, bridges, and residential buildings due to undermining. Therefore, the relief initiative Starkregen 21 has officially pledged its support to the Bundesamt für Bevölkerungsschutz und Katastrophenhilfe (Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance).
We really hope that our help will not be needed and that the resources and forces on the site will be enough. However, should the help be needed and desired, FlyNex would like to support to the best of its ability within the framework of the relief initiative. In addition to FlyNex, other companies such as Airteam, FairFleet, the UAV DACH e. V., Dronesperhour, BirdPilot, and others have joined directly.
